Points on the chart may be removed or excluded from the chart. Excluding a point
removes it from the calculations for
UCL,
mean
and
LCL. The
point remains visible but with a different colour. Removing a point excludes it
from the calculations for
UCL,
mean
and
LCL. The
point is removed from the chart.
Removing Points
Points can be removed from the chart by a left mouse click on the point to be removed.
Select the menu option remove point. The chart will redraw with the selected point
removed.
