Select import data from the file/import Data menu item or the tool strip button

The open file dialog box opens. Navigate to the location of a correctly formated excel spreadsheet. see Data Format for correct format. When the file is opened the select sheet dialog appears. Select the excel worksheet that contains the data you wish to display. either double click sheet name or select and press OK.



























This creates a new datasource entry in the views pane under which a default view is created. This default view is also displayed the chart window. This view takes the first series from the spreasheet.
